The U.S. COPD Coalition, in collaboration with the COPD Foundation and the American Lung Association, invite representatives from member organizations to join a breakfast roundtable discussion about the COPD National Action Plan before the official conference kick off. The roundtable will be held on Friday, July 28th at 7:00am at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in the United A/B Room.

With the release of the National Action Plan in May, now is the time for patient and healthcare professional organizations, state coalitions and others to come together and show support for the goals of the Plan. Each community member has a unique role to play in implementing the strategies called for within the Plan and strong coordination and collaboration is a must if we are to see the policy goals move forward.

The roundtable discussion will provide a forum for organizational representatives to discuss their current priorities and how they relate to the National Action Plan and to identify common areas of interest for future collaboration. The discussion will help jumpstart the National Action Plan implementation efforts and lay the groundwork for two days of interactive dialogue with a variety of stakeholders in the COPD community during COPD10usa.

Space is limited so please RSVP to jsullivan@copdfoundation.org ASAP. A lite breakfast will be served. You do not need to be registered for COPD10usa to attend, however we highly encourage you to stay and join in the conference. If you need assistance with registration please let us know and Coalition members will be given special consideration for registration discounts.
